Socialite Charles Olimu also known as Sipapa has been arrested. He was involved in an attempted robbery at the home of a South Sudanese national at his home in Bunga.
The police confirmed his arrest and under custody via a post on twitter.
The spokesperson for Police Fred Enanga confirmed that arrangements are underway to hand over the suspect to the CID for further questioning and interview at the Kampala Metropolitan Police.
Sipapa is a Ugandan music promoter, city socialite and businessman. He was born in 1988 from parts of Eastern Uganda of Badama land.
