A total of six students have been arrested by Arua Central Police following the death of a student of St. Peter’s College Ombaci.

The deceased called Aziz Adnami an s.4 student was beaten severely by unknown locals that took place on 4th March 2022.

It was alleged that the deceased met his death during a fight that erupted when they left the football match in Koboko Municipality in search of alcohol.

One of the on-lookers said that the deceased and the friends left the match to look for alcohol but instead got into a fight with the locals.

It was survival for the fittest where the friends ran away but left the deceased alone hence being beaten bitterly to his death.

The friends tried rushing him to hospital in hope to save his life but unfortunately he couldn’t make it with his injuries.

This escalated fear in the school enabling students to strike destroying multiple properties at the school premises.

On Sunday 6th March 2022, the school management ordered for all students to evacuate the premises as they build on the investigations for the death of their own.
