The National Drug Authority has banned the sale of three categories of drinks namely Stronger Weekend, Stronger Pineapple Wine and Stronger Beer.
The products tested positive with viagra in them from the NDA laboratories right after the raid that took place earlier this month at the production factory.
The Head of Region for National Drug Authority confirmed the testing and urged the public from taking these products as unknown consumption can lead to liver and heart failure.
Furthermore, National Drug Authority also told the Uganda National Bureau of Statistics on the dangers of the products and urged it to stop its market in Uganda.
The authority will also get in touch with their counterparts in the Democratic Republic of Congo regarding the laced products.
