Grip safaris take you to Sipi Falls one of the most romantic places in eastern Uganda in the district of Kapchorwa, found on the slopes of Mount Elgon. The water falls involves an active hike which is an experience of its own A variety of hikes can be arranged up Mount Elgon itself, ranging from 11km hikes (6-8 hours) to 6 kilometers hikes (3-4 hours) and 4 kilometers hikes (2 hours) These hikes offer tranquil views of Mount Elgon including its waterfalls, rainforests and spectacular views over the ridges and plains of Eastern Uganda. This 3Days safari also incorporates the community walk in the Bagisu tribal community,Traditions and their famous Arabica Coffee plantations.

Day1: Kampala to Sipi Falls.

Depart from Kampala early morning about 6 to 7: am and drive eastwards about 276km to kapchorwa throug Mbale town ,The drive is very scenic with sugar plantations around Lugazi and Kakira. You will go past sugar cane and tea plantations of Mukono and at Jinja you will also see the River Nile as we continue our journey to Mbale town where we will have lunch. After lunch take another 1 ½ hour’s drive towards your accommodation near the Romantic Sipi falls,relax then take a hike to the water falls for about 2 to 3 hours and back to the logde to njoy the cool breeze and have a wonderful evening watching the sunset.

Day 2: Sipi Falls Activities.

After breakfast, undertake a community walks through the Bagisu home steads. Visit their coffee plantations exploring their farming practices along with their traditions, hike the falls and for the bird lovers you have an opportunity of watching different bird species such as black and white casqued Hornbill, Hartlaub’s Turaco, bar-tailed Trogon, grey throated Barbet, Montane Oriole, Mountain Greenbull and Black Collared Apalis to name just a few .

For those who are adventurous mountain biking and abseiling are huge opportunities for you to venture into because of their unforgettable experiences and after embark to the lodge or the camp site for a relaxed evening and a night over.

DAY 3: Sipi to Kampala.

After an early morning breakfast we set off Kampala via Jinja ,where we go to the source of the Nile River and see where the White Nile and Lake Victoria merge with an option for a stopover for lunch then continue our journey to kampala as this marks the end of your 3 days Sipi Falls T
