Later proceed to Lake Bunyonyi a beautiful place with an amazing scenery good for relaxation and a good atmosphere which also favorable to bird watchers and not for getting the and very many bird species.
Day 1: Kampala to Lake Bunyonyi.
We pick you up at the hotel or airport drive to the south western part of Uganda with a short stop over at the equator to experience the different geographical forces in both the north and southern hemisphere, have a snack or coffee and then proceed to Mbarara for lunch enroute for about an hour and then drive to lake Bunyonyi with beautiful view of hills and farmlands filled with banana plantation for a night
Day 2: Activities at Lake Bunyonyi.
After your early morning breakfast take a cruise on the lake with the dugout canoe guided by a local guide to an island where you can have nature walks and visit the local communities as well a traditional doctor .some clients will cherish some relaxing moments on the shores of this peaceful lake and will choose among the various tour activities. They can choose to go birding, cycling, and sun bathing, swimming or even canoeing since the waters are crocodile free.
Then back to the camp for relaxation and night.
Day 3:Lake Bunyonyi to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Wake up for your early morning breakfast and set off at around 9 to 10 a: m for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to the lodge or campsite where you will have your lunch, relaxation and later take a walk to the nearby local communities or visit the local traditional communities where you can do some little art and craft shopping and viewing the back to the hotel or campsite for a night and get ready for the next day’s main activities.
Day 4:Gorilla tracking at Bwindi.
After an early morning breakfast and guide briefing, set off for your gorilla tracking in the forests. This forest is best known for the fascinating gorillas, where the time taken to find them and terrain varies according to their movements and the time spent to track these Gorrillas is very unpredictable, the thrill of spending time and observing these gentle giant gorillas is a rare, moving, awesome and exciting adventure that will leave you with long lasting memories and experience. The gorillas are shy and peaceful animals and it is an unforgettable experience to watch and photograph them as they play and interact.
A packed lunch, drinking water will be carried along as you track comfortable boots or sturdy shoes, as well a light rain jacket are also important due to the unpredictable weather of Bwindi Impenetrable forest. Walking sticks will be available from the park rangers. For conservation purposes, time spent with the gorillas is limited to one hour. The ranger guide always briefs you on how to behave with these gentle giants. In the evening, proceed to the village for a cultural walk to interact with the local people. Participate in captivating traditional performances presented by Women’s groups or orphan children groups. Note that the fees you pay for these performances go directly to improve the welfare of families around the park.
Day 5: Depart to Kampala.
After your early morning breakfast, drive back to Kampala as this mark the end of your 5 days Lake bunyonyi and Bwindi impenetrable national park safari/tour.
